Improving transcription accuracy
Learn how to get the most accurate transcriptions from Scribbes.
Audio Quality Matters
The better your audio quality, the better your transcription:
- Use a good microphone: Built-in laptop mics work, but external USB mics are better
- Reduce background noise: Close windows, turn off fans, find a quiet space
- Check your levels: Not too loud (distortion) or too quiet (hard to hear)
Speaking Clearly
Pronunciation:
- Enunciate words clearly
- Don't mumble or slur words
- Speak at a moderate pace
- Pause between sentences
Accent considerations:
- Scribbes works with all accents
- Speak naturally - don't force an accent
- The AI learns from context
