How to create your first note

Creating your first note in Scribbes is simple and takes less than a minute.

Step 1: Navigate to Notes

Click on the "Notes" tab in the main navigation or go to your dashboard and click "Create Note".

Step 2: Choose Your Input Method

You have three options:

• Voice Recording: Click the microphone icon and speak naturally
• File Upload: Upload an audio file (MP3, WAV, M4A)
• Type Directly: Start typing in the editor

Step 3: Record or Upload

If using voice:

1. Click the red record button
2. Speak clearly into your microphone
3. Click stop when finished
4. Scribbes will automatically transcribe your audio

Step 4: Edit and Format

Once transcribed, you can:

• Edit the text in Basic, Markdown, or Advanced mode
• Add tags for organization
• Format the content using AI
• Add a custom title

Step 5: Save

Your note is automatically saved as you work. You can also manually save by pressing Cmd+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows).

Tips for Success

• Speak clearly and at a moderate pace
• Use a good quality microphone for best results
• Break long recordings into smaller chunks
• Add tags immediately for better organization
